Remember how I said I had something special in mind for the drawstring bags I was making? Well, this is what it was:
Baby to Go bags! Simple bags (I chose to make three) with everything you need for a quick trip out with baby. Running to the grocery store but don’t want to pack an entire diaper bag? Use one of these! You’re late for a doctor’s appointment? Grab one and go!
I’d heard of these before but couldn’t remember what others put in theirs. This is what I included:
Pretty much everything you’d need for a diaper change (or a diaper emergency), plus a burp cloth. I made mini-burp cloths and the changing pads for these bags. The changing pads are made using the same method as the burp cloths, I just made them large enough to accommodate the size of a wiggly, growing baby! If you’re formula feeding, you can maybe add in a bottle, a bag with a scoop of formula (or however much you might need) and a bottle of water. And really, you can add anything you think you might need. But the idea is to keep it simple and compact, so don’t get too carried away!
These are great for moms who are always on the go. And doesn’t that apply to all moms?
