We are lucky in this house. Our kids are great vegetable eaters. But every now and then we run into a vegetable that is a bit more challenging for them—or for us! Asparagus is one of those. Luckily we’ve found a way to make asparagus a lot more palatable. It is getting warmer and so it is the perfect time to break out the grill!
Here’s how we do asparagus in our house:
After trimming and washing the stalks, put them in a dish and coat thoroughly with olive oil.
Season well with salt and pepper…
…and grill for 6-7 minutes or until tender.
I like the ones that are charred just a bit. Yum! Serve and enjoy!
