I’ve mentioned before that we are a special-diet family (not that you’d know it by yesterday’s post—we do have our occasional exceptions). Doing the special diet thing isn’t easy for me. I am not a great cook and I don’t even like cooking all that much. I hope to write soon about how we have survived thus far, but for now I want to share one of my favorite little tricks:
I love Dr. Praeger’s stuff. I really try to serve fresh, non-packaged meals, but sometimes I just can’t manage it for every single meal. Not Dr. Praeger’s products meet our dietary needs, but that’s okay—I only need a few to get us by on those days when I don’t have something to serve for lunch (or whatever).
And yes, I really do recognize all the ingredients. My kids like it and I’m happy.
I buy these at Whole Foods but I’ve heard that some other stores like Trader Joe’s and even some Smith’s carry them as well. I think they’re definitely worth looking around for if you would like some quickie meals for your kiddos.
